In 2014, Pastor Jonah Edwards Sr. heard God's voice concerning ministry. After walking around Montebello Lake at 5am for 40 days, God had given Pastor instructions and a name for the ministry. On June 16, 2015, Bread of Life Ministries held it's first service at The Red Roof Inn in Newark, Delaware.

In 2018, God instructed Pastor Jonah to move his ministry to the city of Baltimore. After renting chapels and sharing spaces, Bread of Life nestled into the South of Baltimore on Patapsco Ave.

In 2020, Bread of Life grew and expanded catapulting the church to the east side of Baltimore. It's here on York Road where this ministry currently resides. Healing, deliverance, and REVIVAL has broken out in the ministry.

In 2023 we moved to a shared space with our Private Christian School, Edwards Academy. As we continued in steadfast prayer and fasting, God revealed an opportunity for an even larger space. As God revealed it, He provided for it! Bread of Life will be moving into its new home on JUNE 1, 2024! Won’t you JOIN US!
